Jill's newest project finds her excited to join her alma mater Kenan-Flagler's CSE as a Program Manager. Her responsibilities include Marketing, Strategy and events management at the Center, which focuses on the sustainability curriculum and job placement within business school. Jill will interact with faculty, students and an environmentally-focused local and national community to enhance the Center's influence and effectiveness.



Jill was hired to manage the marketing and re-branding of SJF Advisory Services to SJF Institute. A national brand launch that was made public on September 14, 2010 at SJF's Summit on the New Green Economy. Jill thrived working with a great team of people who connect, inspire and accelerate sustainable entrepreneurs and the fields that support them. Jill's work included management of a multimedia presentation for two preview events (Durham and New York) and the Summit, as well as collateral and elevator pitch development.



Jill was selected to be Event Manager of January 28 2010 "unconference" co-sponsored by the Environmental Defense Fund and Duke University's Fuqua School of Business Corporate Sustainability Initiative – now the EDGE Center. Her responsibilities included site coordination, invitation and messaging delivery, and securing sponsorships.



ProfessionalTravelGuide.com launched in 2008 as a consumer site offering travel-agent-like insight to users. Jill was handpicked by the CEO of the parent company for business development including online sponsorship, newsletter and interactive sales. Jill ramped up sales to almost $500K before the start up was a victim of the economy.



newbold m@rketing solutions worked with this regional lifestyle magazine from launch in January 2004 through 2008 as a contract sales account executive for the home furnishings and real estate categories - helping to make it one of the more successful local publications in the area.



newbold m@rketing solutions acted as an outsourced marketing department and project manager for this RTP-based wireless handwriting technology start up. Projects included a re-designed web site, developing collateral and working on the team that's designed the company's investor presentation.



newbold m@rketing worked with this Atlanta-based start-up to oversee the building of a static web prototype and the design of the company's logo. NMS also worked with TheInsuranceXchange.com to assist in developing key partnership relationships, to negotiate site content relationships and to consult on marketing and public relations decisions. TheInsuranceXchange.com was an unfortunate victim of market timing - but nothing ventured, nothing gained!



Project Manager for new site launched August 1999. Site includes online membership and ticket purchasing, exhibits, activities and the ExploriStore. NMS also conducted complete Request for Proposal (RFP) for Exploris in December of 1998.



The Exploris website, www.exploris.org, received a Bronze MUSE Award in the category of Best Institutional Website from the AAM (American Association of Museums)in a national competition for museums and institutions in the US. The award was announced on May 15th, 2000 at the AAM Annual Convention in Baltimore, Maryland. The other winners were the The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Eiteljorg Museum of American Art.
